which is the best amino acid ?

I've been happy with the Red Sea Reef Energy A/B for about two months. I've been pretty satisfied with it. I have read good things about Zeovit products.

Any of the zeovit amino...Phols extra, amino high concentrate. Elos is weak and causes major algae blooms. I really notice a difference with extra.

I have used the Brightwell and the Pohls (AKA Zeovit) AA Concentrate (XTRA contains AA but is not a substitute for AA) and I am thinking of switching back to Brightwell. I see no results from the Zeovit stuff as all.... I did not see any results when I was dosing as the directions state (and soon after had a Dino outbreak) or now that I am dosing twice a week... However the brightwell stuff showed huge huge PE and better growth.... Dosed it daily for two months and had to increase my ALK dose to keep up with the growth. When I rad out my alk shot up as the growth slowed.... so I am waiting to run out of the zeo AA

I am interested in trying the elos... I have seen good reviews but then again I have seen good reviews from the zeo stuff as well.

On a side note the XTRA works crazy good for the color of my birdsnest and stylos...

Your not gonna get the results you want unless you run the full zeo system. Zeovit is a complete system. You can't just add amino acids and expect to see a big difference.

While I somewhat agree I somewhat do not... They advertise it for use in non zeo systems. And I have used BW's amino acids with great results before switching to Zeovit.
I am now contemplating using the BW with the other zeo components because of the poor results from the AA Concentrate...

Amino acid is a food, not a magic potion. If your corals are looking pale or starved then you can add amino acids to Feed the corals which helps with colors. Amino acids are not color changing elements just food.

If your corals are over saturated with nutrients adding more amino acids is only going to make the tissue darker or brown.

I have been using acro power for the last two months once a week dosing and I have see. GREAT polyp extension and awesome color.
Haven't tried any of the other but have had decent results with AcroPower

What Brightwell product did you use?

Thanks
