Those prices I think are ok but I have seen some better on Ebay.
So Please Tell me what you think.
Also I don't mind modding the lights down the road and pump and maby light for a Fuge so those are future plans but not plans for now.
Any input will be good input!:) Thanks!

Don't really worry about that recall situation. It happened over 8 months ago so I would imagine most tanks are already off the shelves. If you see a serial number on the inside of the cover, you are ok.

I just did a TON of research and I went with the 12 gallon aquapod. I didn't want to spend too much on a setup I wasn't even sure how to manage since I am just getting into the hobby. So the Aquapod it is.

I haven't even set it up yet, but overall it looks like a great little tank.

Im trying to find other threads but the server is too busy to search. Also I would like to get information on the pair of clowns and an anemone if it will work. Thanks for the information.

The best way to search this site is to go to google, click on advanced and where it says domain, just put reefcentral.com.

As for the clowns and anemone, the clowns are no problem at all to keep in that tank but I would not suggest keeping an anemone. That tank does not have nearly the lighting requirements needed to raise a healthy BTA. You would need to buy a metal halide light or retro one into your hood, and even then 12g is a little small to be able to keep the water quality up enough for an anemone. Do some reading in the clown and anemone forum on here.

Thanks for the info I was going to upgrade the light when $ permits and as for water quality bi-weekly water changes and maby a gallon refugium could help. Thanks

There's a new line of all-in-one cubes made by Oceanic, avail in 8, 14 and 29 gal. More expensive, but better reputation.

mdt178... Is there a link somewheres that shows the new Oceanic cubes? If Oceanic made em, I'm sure they are great!

I dont think you can buy, setup, and stock that size tank for 200. And most of those lighting combos cant support an anenome, and it shouldnt really be tried in that small of a tank. Clownfish dont need anenomes, and Captive bred(you should always buy if you get the chance) dont really host so thats that.

Please post a link for those tanks. I've seen the 29g and like the looks of that and the Finnex M-Tank 22g glass tanks as well. Either way, I'm looking to upgrade to at least one 150w hqi mh on my nano.

i have clown fish that go in my feather dusters and sometimes in my hairy mushroom. kinda funny watching them in a feather duster. when my clown starts to get rough my feather duster sucks back in its tube, my poor clown looks lost for awhile he dont know what happened!

Try this. I have ordered from them their service is great and shipping cost is low. I am very happy with the Aquapod, better lighting than the JBJ. IMO

lots of discussion of Oceanic Bio Cube in nano-reef.com. I've seen them in LFS as well as Ebay.
I'm not sure if posting a link violate RC user agreement.

I also have an Aquapod 24. I ordered it back in May. It is now stocked with one Ocellaris Clown & one Yellow Watchman Goby. They are doing fine. I just ordered my first batch of coral and placed them today. I have 2 zoos, 1 yellow polyp species, 1 button polyp species, 1 ricordea yuma, & 1 Torch. The torch is very beautiful and resembles an anemone, but is a good choice for the Nano--especially the Aquapod. I have the standard lighting consisting of 64 watts. Also, I highly recommend the book "CORALS" by Eric Boremann. It is the best book available for coral learning. I take it whenever I want to purchase a coral or look up another coral suggested by someone. I hope this helps! I was in your shoes trying to decide some 4 months ago. :)

Oh, I also have a Green Star polyp species added too. They are all small to medium in size, which will give me time to observe them all and learn from my own hands-on experiences.
