Which "phylia?"

Just picked this up. No matter which "phylia" it is, it was only $40 and is about the size of a small dessert plate!

Picture doesn't do it any justice at all. There's a lot of purple and pink speckles in all that green (it's also not open all the way in the pic).

Just curious what, exactly, it is. Thanks!

looks like a symphyllia. wierd... the last shipment of corals came in with tons of huge colonies of this coral.

I'm not complaining! This was a nice find in a very unlikely store. The picture doesn't show just how large this thing is. Took me about an hour to make enough space for it!

It's coloring up very nicely, lots of different colors upon close inspection. Thanks for the help everyone!

Do you know where it came from? Assuming its from the Indo-Pacific (rather than something out of the Atlantic...) I would say Symphyllia
