Which RO membrance should I get?

Hi,
I have a 5 stage Ro filter 100g/day which was bought on Ebay. Can some one tell me which membrance do I need for it?

I think you have the same unit as mine. I just replace my membrance but i didn't use the 100gpd. I bought the 75gpd

Its made my Filmtech (DOW). Get the 75GPD and under. 100GPD has a 90% rejection rate and 75 GPD has a 95% rejection rate. Yes its only 5% but that a difference of 20 TDS when my tap water TDS is 400. Also your DI should last longer as well since it has less TDS to remove.

You can try Ebay as well but make sure you get the Filmtec brand

If you switch from the 100 to the 75gpd membrane, be sure you change the flow restrictor in your unit also.

I paid 90 for a new membrane plus 25 for new filters. I could have bought a brand new unit for a little more from filtersdirect.

lol... i know what you mean when you can buy a new unit for the same price... i am on my 2nd "new" unit. a 5 stage 100GPD from aquadirect. shipped with a garden hose adapt for $127.00. that unit had the 4gal reserve tank... not bad.... all new filter shipped $118.00

I am even luckier, I got the membrance, a bag of DI and 2 extra DI tubes for $40. Thanks to REEFER714.
