I have a Melevs Reef 100gpd 5 stage RODI. I think it works fine, but it's the only one I have had, so can't really compare to anything else.

I'm just using the BRS 5 stage unit with no complaints.

I had a coralife, sold it, and got a BRS to replace it. Best cost/benefit ratio.

they really are, but my dealings with AWI have been great customer service. I've had them trouble shoot mine and even replaced the unit when it still was having issues and it was over a year old.

Bingo, customer service can make or break deals for me these days. I also bought an AWI based on customer reviews and continue to purchase filters from them as well.

I had an Air Water & Ice Typhoon, and upgraded to SpectraPure MaxCap last year. Great customer service with both, but there was a noticeable difference in the final output water.
