Durso? Herbie? Stockman?

I have an old school All-Glass 120 gallon that I am finally setting up, the one with two corner overflows, with a 1" and a 3/4" hole in each. I'll be running the returns over the back of the tank, so I can use both holes for drainage. I was thinking about trying a BeanAnimal-type since I want it quiet.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I use a durso and it is quiet. water flucuates about 1/4 every so often in my overflow wish it didn't but dont matter since I have my RODI turn on every 8hrs.

I've always used a durso the last ten years worked great iv never had a problem..and I've tried the others as well I prefer the durso my 30g cube has dual dursos on it

Can someone post pictures of all the different ones that are mentioned in this threat. I have a vague idea but not certain which is which. Maybe a brief discription as well.

I bought my tank used and it came with stockman standpipe. it looks like the hofer with the wider fitting installed upside down. no noise at all. you will need something similar in the sump as well like a reverse durso.
