Which T for my Durso Standpipe

Which T should I use for my Durso Standpipe? I was thinking of using the top one because it might help the water direction, but now I am starting to worry it may take away from the point of the T a little bit, hindering air from raising to the top.

I don't think it will really mater on the drain. The air isn't rising, but being sucked in thru the hole you put in the end cap. Sweeps are great for return or closed loop plumbing.

Is it really necessary to glue any of the fittings? Nothing is going to fall off. Air can't leak in anywhere the it shouldn't and it wouldn't matter a huge deal if it did.

Slip together is just fine, and so is the top elbow. Nice touch is a short piece of PVC & a cap on the top. Drill 4 1/8" holes through the short piece & the cap = easy to adjust airflow = max flow & max quiet.

I used the lower as wanted a tighter Durso since space was an issue (cut back both the tee and elbow)
