Which tang?

625 gal I have not keep but I had 450 gal tank in the past and 320 gal tank now. IMO, 4 medium very colorful tangs is a lot better than 1 huge tang that is duller in color. No mater how big of a tank, 15 inches fish look really out of place unless your tank in 15+ feet.
OTOH, one huge Gigas clam is the way to go for large tanks. Mine is about 30 inches.

I think I have decided against the large tang, I only have 9 fish in the tank and already kind of wish the tank was more like 12'x10'... How are your angels with the Gigas?

My angels are great. Does not bother a thing. I do feed my tank a lot. I am getting another Regal Angel this weekend. Alton had him for a long time (a year) and he is fat and doing well. I was lucky that Alton have three Regal and the other two paired up and he is the odd one out.

Very nice, you will be pleased with the Regal from Alton I have no doubts! I have 2 Regals myself but not sure if they will pair or not. When I acclimated them a few weeks ago there wasn't aggressive posturing just little nibbles from the larger of the two. We will see what happens.

I love my Fowler's tang. I've had it for almost 5 years and it has been a slow grower, probably only 7 or 8in long. It is definitely the most mellow tang I have.
