Hi Roger,
I have been reading through these posts tonite and I have definitely settled on Tunze. They sound like a good quality product and you seem like a great company rep to deal with!! Here's my question, I currently have a 55 gallon reef tank with 6 (yes 6) Minijet powerheads positioned at various locations within my tank. They still don't generate enough current (partly due to my initial poor aquascaping). I was wondering if you might recommend to me what type of Tunze would work well for my tank. I was thinking of replacing them with two 6025's. Is that enough flow, too little flow or too much?? Any input you could provide would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks!!!!

Tell me more about what you keep and type of sand bed? Also, is this a standard 4ft 55?

ill give it a shot i would say for a 4ft tank the minimum would be 2x6045 or ultimatly 2x6055 with the multicontroller
if by any chance this is a BB sps tank one 6100 could work

Thanks Roger,
Here's some of the details... I have a standard 55, 4 ft. in length. It has a 2 in. sand bed and I keep a variety of corals. I mainly have xenia (everywhere, lol), mushrooms, zoos, 2 branching hammers, 2 frogspawns, one candycane and one pipe organ. I also have a plating montipora frag and an encrusting montipora. There are only 4 fish in the tank, a purple tang, a maroon clown, a 6 line wrass and one leftover green chromis damsel. Hope that info. helps. Also, I do not have a refugium or sump, I run a skimmer and an Eheim with nothing in it but Chemipur, Rowaphos and filter floss. Thanks again for your quick response. I am really looking forward to purchasing these products!!!

I would say the ideal is 2 6055 and the 7095 controller. The budget set up would be 2 6045.
