Which water storage/change system?

About to create my water storage setup. Any thoughts on which way to plumb it? One way uses 5 ball valves but four holes in the barrels. The other way uses 5 valves but only three holes in the barrels.

Definitely a nice one. He's local to me, but I haven't seen it in person. I've seen Roger's and it looks good. My water station budget was definitely minuscule to what he ended up spending. I'll post a pic of mine when I'm finished. I'm about half way there.

That's a neat idea. I like that you can move it around and make it portable. I have a small basement with limited space so this could be useful.

So everything is looking good except for one thing... I have a leak. I added the tubing on the side to measure the waterline, and that is where the leak is. I used threaded 90degree barbs with a rubber grommet in the outside of the barrel. I cut the holes a little smaller than the threaded end and screwed them in. (I also removed any burs). Any ideas on how I can keep it from leaking?

Should I take it back out and add silicone around it, and then screw it back in? Maybe add a bead of silicone around that too?

I would try a 2 female fittings, inside & outside & put a gasket under each one.
