I've notice over the past couple weeks my female lineatus has been less boisterous and then today durring a water change I notice a light colored blotch on her side.
I'm trying to get a picture but as you all know, fish seldom cooperate. My first thought is a bacterial infection. There is no aggression towards her nor her towards any other fish in the tank.
Size 125g
PH 8.2
Salinity 1.026
Nitrates 40ppm (a little high for sure)
NH4 Zero
NO3 Zero
Other inhabitants
Black Tang
Tomini Tang
Solarensis wrasse
Blue side wrasse
Radiant wrasse
Melanurus wrasse
orchid dotty
YTB damsel
Occ. Clown
Its a mixed reef LPS dominated right now. I've been battling nitrates using MB7 and ecobak pellets. I am running a SRO 2000xp skimmer and I feed a mix of NLS pellets and a home frozen food made from shrimp, scallops, squid, octo, clams, oyster, mussel, cyclopeze, Nori, spirulina, and selcon. No other fish show any change in behavior and all are eating and well.
