My daughter and I are looking at a piar of TR seahorses that have been at LFS for 3-4 weeks. They seem to have some white dots on them. It does not look like ick. It kind of looks like sand stuck to them? Any idea what this is? TIA Tim
Not enough info to tell what's wrong with the TR seahorses but it is enough to know that you should stay away from buying them. You want captive bred seahorses from a reliable breeder not wild caught or sickly TR specimens. Believe me I tried the LFS route when I first started and it always ended badly.
Any good source for TR sea horses? This will be our first pair of sea horse, going in a 10 gallon cube. But we are not new salt water. 210 reef display 75 sump.
