white growth on anthias

Lee,
Thank you for your reply. On investigation, I felt that you nailed this one. I left the fish alone, and this weekend the growth dropped off the tail. She looks great and continues to be in quarantine. I thought I'd leave her in QT another two weeks after the growth dropped off, before moving to main tank. In any case, the clownfish in my main tank has come down with popeye (you have contributed to a different thread on that topic), so I don't want to introduce any new fish there until that is resolved. Funny how you sail along for months with no problems whatsoever and then suddenly it all goes south!

cabin,

That's the excitment of the hobby! :D

An old Chinese curse goes like this:
May you live in exciting times.

To Westerners, it doesn't sound like a curse -- but it is. ;)
