White Ribbon Eel Overfed?

Hello,

Just because I'm describing my experience, doesn't mean everyone should get one.
!!Specimens are Extremely Difficult and Delicate!!

TheyWILL AND DO die very easily. (Within the first week usually) So, forget what they cost, It's about survival of the species.

Estimated only 1 out of 100 (I say 1/500) of these specimen actually survive in the Home aquariums.

So, to my question. Is it possible to OVERFEED this specimen? currently I feed twice daily. Silversides about 1.5" in length.

I was informed that if overfed, they might not be able to fully digest their first meal, and might cause intestinal distresses because of newly ingested foods. True or false?

I was lucky enough to have been given this to me to try to nurse it back to health. It was nearly starved.

 Now, it is BEAUTIFUL!!

They are actually not that hard to take care of, if provided the right environment and you are willing to feed live foods. In my experience they will not overeat. The problem with these guys is they eventually become female and turn ugly.
