White spots ID

Hello every one i have a 55g tank that im using as a quarentine/treatment for my fish.
I and i notice this new spots that are bigger the the ich ones .

Im doing hyposalinity treatment , tank has been a week on 1.009 (hydrometer) salinity.

Any help is appreciated

So I just let it run is course?

Could it be that my fish never had ich?

The fish eat well (pallets and vitamin socked brine shrimp), swims fine haven't seen any scratching .

Lymphocytosis is definitely possible. I have seen lympho most commoly start on the fins but it could start on the body. It also could be a bacterial infection as a complication of the treated ich. Given the species, couldn't uronema be a possibility too?

Sorry, I didn't see the pictures before nor knew we were talking about green chromis - that changes things. With chromis the first suspicion should be uronema and unfortunately this fits the white patches visible in the pictures.

I would recommend do put them in a formalin bath and then also dose the tank with the lower long term dose.

It looks like the start of Uronema to me. You need to action very quickly...the last trio of Anthias I bought fm LA had Uronema and within 48 hours they died. With Chromis....they have been known to fall victim to this disease just like the Anthias.

Where did you buy the fish from?

petco, sadly my only option here(for now), but those spot have been there since the low salinity started and thats a week or more

in that tank i have

2 cardenals
2green chromis
1 lemon chromis
1 watchman goby
1 yellow spot goby

If you are doing hyposalinity treatment it could also be bacterial. Though with chromis I wouldn't take a risk and do the formalin baths anyway.

You might want to get a broadband antibiotic, just in case. Amoxicillin (FishMox) worked well for me with bacterial infection on wild percula clowns.

Since you have to do large water changes for the antibiotic treatment I would suggest cleaning the hospital tank while the fish are in the formalin dip. Since uronema doesn't encyst washing the tank with hot (~50C) water should be sufficient.
You should do this for at least one week.

fromalin dip for a week?

i have a spare 20 g i can use,should i use the same water in the hospital tank since they used to salinity?

Do not put them in the short dip solution for a week! The long term dosage is a much lower one and rather to prevent reinfection.

I would lower the salinity a bit to 1.018 to make osmoregulation easier for the fish and increase the oxygen saturation.

and wash hospital tank with 50ºc water

and then small dosage of formalin on hospital?
