white star fish

I have pulled maybe 7 to 10 white star fish from the glass of my 150 in the last month or so, would this be something that I need to worry about bothering my zoa's, paly's and rics? They are small, about the size of your pinky nail.

search asternia stars here on RC. Some are good algae eaters while some are coral eaters.

asterinas are generally just part of yoru clean up crew........the bad ones wont be hanging out on the glass and rocks.......ive never had any zoa eaters but ive had some sps eaters

After a couple of years of staying Zoa-less after losing most of my colonies, I've re-introduced some into my display tank. And the asterinias are attacking them. Maybe this is what caused the downfall before.

I'm slowly removing the asterinias as I find them. Hadn't noticed this behavior in the past.
