dear beerguy, with talk about people getting there panties in a bunch and throwing tantrums maybe it is you that needs an infraction. your the biggest hypocrite mod on this site. dont sit there on your computer and talk down on people. your here to make this site better, not make long time members feel like they should not be here.

A simple, "sorry that I reacted like a jerk to something that wasn't even about me" to the moderator that you unloaded on would have spoken volumes. Yet I'm the hypocrite.

My best advice to you is to either learn be civil and play by our rules or you should find another site that more closely matches your needs. My patience for your rants is wearing thin.
 
Could an officer from MASC contact me and let me know if coralreef321 is even a member of your club?

I was not referring to 'we'. I was referring to Stu specifically, as I stated.
 
jeez beerguy dont get all riled up. you were the one with the inappropriate comments about me, so i thought i would chime in instead of letting you bash me on this thread. and that all i was doing was sticking up for myself otherwise i would not have made a reply to this thread at all. so yes its all about you if you wouldn't have made an inappropriate comment about me you wouldn't have even seen a reply from me. have a good holiday Beerguy :cool:
 
I don't care either way. Could we shut this down from both sides before our whole club forum is locked. Yes it will happen.

Beerguy-coralreef is in littleton colorado so he is in colorado- don't know if that helps.

Did they do something spectacular this weekend?

The only football game I've ever been to was a Raiders and (i think) bangles game, when they were in Southern California. And I never saw fans so riled up over a team. (except maybe Greenbay). After the game when we were walking back to the car, I must have seen 3 fights in the parking lot. Now that's going a little too far!!!

Just looked it up... I know what you're doing..... trying to get the Broncos fans to chime in...... ahh you Raiders fans!!!! (proves my point)

Well denver is gonna lose again when they play the eagles this sunday. Sorry guys but im from philly so i gotta root for my home team. But dont get it twisted i am a denver fan but more of a eagles fan. Oh yeah boo hiss closed threads reefcentral gravel gravel gravel
 
I think that due to my location I usually root for denver..... unless i'm in Wisconsin with my inlaws..... then I'm a die hard cheese head :D
 
we really needed the win against oakland. now denver has to win there last two games to make the guaranteed spot in the playoffs. But i never even thought they would have made it this far with the new coach and Kyle Orton. but anything is better than Cutler. have fun with your new QB Chicago lol.

Thats the thing about the Raiders, doesn't matter what the final score is, we will beat you :lolspin:

At this point any win against a team with a wining record is spectacular in my book.

I think that was the Christmas Wish that was alluded to earlier.

For my two cents, it would be helpful if a reason was given when threads were closed. It doesn't have to be verbose, but would help when things just aren't clear to those participating in the thread. 50/90s are pretty clear. Inappropriate language or selling is pretty clear. Behaving like Kindergartners is pretty clear. When it's not clear though, a little info goes a long way for understanding.

We are all customers of RC. Many of us contribute to RC. You may recall when the boards were down during an upgrade? No information was forthcoming. Admin's learned from their mistakes and posted updates the next time an upgrade was performed. That's customer service.

It would be nice to see the same thing done for closed posts. It doesn't require that many keystrokes and the mod closing it has a reason in mind. Please share.

Some stay, some go, some are thrown out. But for those of us still here, help us by hitting a few extra keystrokes; even when we might be reverting to age inappropriate behavior (That would be the K in K-12!).

I now understand how the "local club forums" work on RC, but did not until the name change/split.
However I have been very active on these threads for years.

When I first got in the Hobby, I found the "Reef Central" website.

In the forums I found RMRC = "Rocky Mountain Reef Central" ( or so I thought ).
I thought that it was just a "locality based" reef central forum as it is very useful to have trading/selling/givving-away threads that are based on your locality.

After the name change, I found that it actually meant "Rocky Mountain Reef Club", of which I was not a member.

I have always taken these local forums to be just that: local RC participants, meaning no actual affiliation with a CLUB but more of a locale.

So if my participation in the RC-MASC website ( vs. DARC ) is based on membership dues then I may choose to not participate any longer as I have not paid any "dues" nor attended any of the local activities.

However, if you ask some of the local reefers, I believe I have contributed more than a lot of the others.

Stu - The club forums are regional forums. There isn't any rule prevents you from posting in any of them. The reason I asked about coralreef321 was so that I could treat his complaints about the moderation of the MASC forum with the appropriate weight.
