Who feeds fish roe?

Rod's food has a fish egg product. It's frozen after being rinsed in r/o. Pretty nice product.

Yes, and there is also Nutramar Ova which is prawn eggs. I tend to buy non manufactured product as it tends to be less expensive for the value received.

Mitch that's why I never fed it to the babies. It's funny/wierd that you can ruin their livers with fat just like us. So you use them as a treat before business?
Steve how often do you feed it?

When I make my home made food - I put in whatever fish roe I can find. The fish go nuts for it on its own. It is a great addition and adds nutrients and variety to my mix.

I feed fish roe sparingly; a half teaspoon for one feeding on four days per week. I plan to feed blackworms for one feeding three times per week. I usually feed all tanks at least two times per day and often three times.

I looked at this post earlier in the week and decided to give roe a shot.

Went to Mitsuwa, japanese market near me, and picked up tobikko. Its the tiny orange stuff in sushi. (flying fish roe)

My fish went nuts for it and all of my corals opened up and gobbled it down quick.

Feeding it is really easy with a turkey baster as the stuff sinks nice and slow.

Since it is small it is great for chalices and other things that have small mouths... like baby dendrophyllia heads.
