Who Knows Anything About Flame Anthias

AKA Pseudanthias ignitus

I see they only grow to about 3" but no LFS has seemed to of ever heard of them.

That tells me that they are either impossible to get or impossible to keep, but maybe I'm wrong.

I'd love to keep these guys in my custom shallow 40g SPS cube.

Anyone with info would be appreciated.

LiveAquaria carries them. Pretty much like dispar anthias, just collected from a different location.

I wish. I will be at work when they come in so my husband will be the one to do the acclimation. He always does it so no big deal. I forgot to select Saturday shipping this time. I will post some pics as soon as I get home. If you plan on ordering some online I would jump on the sale price at liveaquaria they will run out really quick. I was able to get 2 more so I have a total of 7 coming in so worse case scenerio if i lose a couple I will still have a good group. I hope.

I was getting ready to push the order button on 3 of them but I'm concerned if they are what I want or not.

I'm hoping they still have them in stock and on sale on Tuesday

I know what you mean. Every now and then they get them in. I would add them to my cart and then change my mind. I was actually hoping to get a trio in the divers den but I never saw any.

I will see if my son can email me some pics to work as soon as they come in tuesday and post pics for you so if you are able to check at work you can order them asap if you decide that is what you want.

I'm very happy with mine! Much bigger than I epxected though. I thought these guys are only 3" full grown?

These must be full grown and not mediums as advertised.
