whoa..what in tarnation is my shroom doin'??

I've never seen him do thihs before and not really sure what to make of it. The only thing close to him is a feather duster and he's not touching him. Since I've finished typing, he's laid back out with no problem. What was he doing???

looks like it ate something.....perhaps a pod if you have a population of them in your tank.

I have a CPR Fuge on the back. never really took the time to look at night. So, that is what it looks like when he eats? How often does they do that, eat I mean?

My shroom does that periodically...especially after I feed with pods, never understood why he did it, but figured it was eating. Been doing it for about two years, so it never bothered me, but if that is true, that's pretty darn cool.

good news. he's become a pretty big part of the tank. I dont know how it happened, but it did. He looks great and tried to move him once....he was not havin' it. he grabbed on to everything. So I left him.

Definitely eating. Once I was feeding my tank and a piece of food landed on one of my mushrooms. It closed up just like that.

I have the same type of mushrooms. They do this everytime I feed the tank too.

If you target feed it with a turkey baster it will close up on the baster.

Yea, I target feed one of my mushrooms and it does the same thing.
