Beautiful tanks, You have some very nice growth in there. how many anemone are in your tank on the right? and what types?

Thanks for the compliment. I have 7 anemones in there. Some BTA's, a carpet, and an unknown. I really like the look of it to. Here's a couple of picture of that prtion of the tank.

great setup--how long has your tank been running?

Thank you. The tank has been up for 2 years now. Most all of the corals started out as frags. I did a build thread on another forum but never got around to it on rc. Maybe ill do a 2 year anniversary thread.

Yeah---something I wish I had done when I started on here. Instead I did the growth thread on a blog:

I'm up to three in my 110gal but will be adding more also
Its a really great look:cool:

I just finished taking 800# of rock out of my 500 gallon..

We removed 24 Rose anemones, they were all over the place. The 500 replaced a 280 that had 18 anemones when I tore it down. All these clones came from the original one. And I removed many over the 5 years in between. I would guess somewhere around 50 - 60 over that period.

I will NEVER have another in my system. The water is crystal clear my SPS have not looked this good in years.

My vote is none in a SPS system..

Happy Reefing

Holy cow! 24.

I think you're right about the anemones. That's why they're only in the shallow tank and not the 180 next to it.

Sorry for the bad picture but thats the only one I have right now.

I think I nailed it down to having a BB tank and multiple powerheads pointed straight down onto the tank floor.

I think you are seeing the reflection of light off the sides of the tank making it appear cloudy?
Can you post a pic of your tank so we can see what you mean?
