awesome setup--would love to see your 280gal as I think that will be my next upgrade in a year or so

That tank is just Huge capn_hylinur
Is that the reason of not having more fish in the tank? Do they get aggressive towards other non tang fish in the tank when they get so big?

Actually, he has been almost a model citizen. He (The sohal) is so much bigger than the other fish, that he doesn't even see them as a threat so leaves them alone. (I have 6 other fish in there) I did recently add a chevron Tang and he does try to intimidate him some, but other than that, he is great. Eats out of my hand. -He is getting too big for the tank though, and I am giving him to an LFS to put in their 5000 gallon display tank. (Sorry for the sidetrack on the thread but here's your answer maroun.c)

still can take pictures of it can't he--would love to see the actual size and how it takes up the room

lol capn.....who said there arent any coral wars in my tank? i keep looking at the TOTM's and i dont see a sliver of water between the corals, thats the look i want! i know i'll have to cull out corals as they grow and do a lot of pruning, but i don't mind that at all. i'll maintain the same coral density but with fewer corals over time.

your tank looks great, love the fish population with all those tangs in your first pics.... looks like the ocean!

I am sorry capn. I need to change my signature. My 180 gallon tank IS the 280, which is pictured in my post. It is 280 gallons total with the fuge and the sump. -I thought you meant that you would actually like to "See" (as in -in person-) the tank. Sorry for the confusion. :) I will go change my signature now. I need to anyway since I sold my 120 (That one was actually a 120 gallon tank :))

I am giving him away next month to my lfs and he is going in their 5000 gallon display tank. He is getting too big for the 180. :(
