Who's got an in-wall tank without a fish room?

Seems like all the build threads for large tanks have a fish room behind the tank. I don't have that luxury but have an otherwise good place to install an in-wall 180. It would be viewable from one side and would have cabinets to hide the sump, lights, etc. I could really use some help and advice. Any build threads or other resources you can point me to?

Thanks,
Robert

i have two tanks that are in-wall but have no dedicated fish room... it works fine.. just make sure to plan everything...

i have 435 gallon DT mixed sps tank see through without a fishroom.
like Ptan states plan everything, plan. plan, and execute

I have a 300 in wall visible from two rooms..when I planned the tank I remember paying close attention to the hight of the tank. The reason being was my sump would be under the tank and I needed enough clearence to run a variety of skimmers ( just in case I swapped them out over the years) and at difererant operating depths. It's somerthing simple but can make things real dificult without consideration.

Here is a short photographic description of my room divider tank set up I'm busy constructing. No fish room, all the filters and equipment are housed within the surrounding cupboards. I do have a 70sqm basement immediately below the tank, but decided on a simpler self contained system. Who knows, maybe later ...

So the hole in the wall was built first.

your welcome.... i installed one exhaust fan... i think it is required especially for air exchange because the air inside the cabinets are getting too hot... i usually put a timer in it... it will be one hour earlier befor lights on and one hour later after lights off. I installed a dip coil chiller. Dip coil are 22 meter copper coil covered in rubber. It is connected to a 1.5 split type condenser. hth

I will install inlet vents in the bottom cupboard doors and then extractor fans in the top sections of the cupboard.
Dont intend using a chiller, will rather install a bigger aircon unit in the main lounge to keep the system temp under control.
