Who's running a Reefbreeders LED light?

Or equivalent?

I just bought one recently and I'd be interested in how well they're doing for other people. Also how intense you're going with the light and for how many hours, how high you have them mounted, PAR levels, etc.

Extra credit for pics!!

Dang. I wish you'd have left it in SPS Keepers, but you're the boss.

Let me just clarify therefor that the questions I asked were directly related to SPS. Sorry if I was unclear about that, but that's why I asked there and not here.

You already know I love mine. I do a 4 hr sunrise, then 5hrs at 90% blue and 40% white (it's a pretty white look) and then 5 hrs for sunset that gets more blue every hour. And my sps are growing just as good as they did under 1000w of MH and 160w of t5.

Don't you mean a pretty blue look Ron? If you are at 90 blue and 40 white I would think it is more blue. I have my 2040 at 80 blue and 50 white and I like that look, but it is bluish. If I go the opposite which I have tried it's more white which I guess I like sometimes too.

Either way Ron, you definitely do get extra credit for the ginormous pic!

Oddly enough, I normally like an heavy blue tint also (I know that's what you meant) but for some reason I like this light just as is, 50/50, for midday lighting. I more than make up for it mornings and evenings though. I never saw coral fluoresce like this under my T5's!

The blue tint in the photo is more about the camera than the tank. I should try and improve that pic with some editing. I think part of it is the blue fabric on the canopy casting a fairly blue light outside the tank. It doesn't look that blue to to the eye.

My IT2080's have a 3:2 ratio of blue to white leds and it makes for a rather white fixture.

I have a photon 32 over my 90 gallon hung 8" above water. I am currently at 55% blue and 65% white and getting 100-600+ par. The 100 reading is on the sides of my tank since its a 48" tank and the light is only 32" wide. But I find that perfect to keep LPS. My intention is to keep at 55% blue maybe up it to 60 and increase the white a little bit more. Just put my first piece of SPS in the tank a few weeks back, so far so good. I started at 20/20 and been increasing since I got the light 2+ months ago. Taking it very slow and checking par all along the way
