Modular Marine has provided great customer service to me. I've bought 2 times, both custom pieces.
Why are brs overflow box's so expensive?!

I have both the 20" and the new Shadow (16"). I have only one complaint and it does in fact involve the cover.
When you line the teeth on the inside up on a tank that has trim, you need to put it fairly close to the top in order that the water level is above the bottom of the trim. When you do this, the back end is very close to the bottom of the outside trim and it is difficult to get the lid to fit onto the overflow.
Aside from that, these are good overflows. I actually like the more solid feel of the 20 though. The Shadow works, I have it running right now. But it has a thinner, cheaper feel.
