clowninaround74 was having a convo with me last night and we were chatting about my new 6 gal and fish in it and my whole tank setup......look at like the first 20 posts. ok ok that last like 20 or10 were stupid but lol alright ill quit messing around
 
hey i have a question for a moderator....if your kicked off RC, whats to say that you cant just go remake a new name and stuff and be right back in it? im just wondering...not trying to be a smart a ss
 
I can't speak for here but on aonother board I moderate on, we have the ability to resolce IP addresses and see if anybody else has the same IP. If it gets bad enough Admins can block whole host addresses.

And we can also alter post counts. While we all get a laugh out of postwhoring to a point, the second thread would probably mean Butch would be diggign out of a -10,000 post hole. :D

It's possible and folks try all the time; we catch about 99% of them. ;)

I got to where my posts are the way everybody else did, posting info or questions and answering them. I saw your attempt at 100 and thought it was stupid myself, I mean who really cares about post count or avatars. I am glad they slapped your wrist. You can get booted off RC for wasting space, try pushing the mods and see what happens. Why use RC as a little playground? Its here for info and BSing about reef tanks. Go over to AOL and post some stuff about celebrity news & gossip and you can waste all the time you want on there and nobody will care.
 
lol wow this serious stuff holy moly relax a lil just a chat thing. i know it was stupid but my point is dont worry about my thread if you dont want to read it then dont read it simple just like you look at a thread and it doesnt pertain to you, you dont write anything on it correct?? so do that with my thread then well be fine

Thank you Chris...good post. This forum needs to be used for what it is intended to which is to discuss the hobby. If you go about and post normally, asking questions, and helping others, you will hit 100 in no time.
 
Yeah thanks eric, its amazing when you get into some meaningful discussion how you can hit a few hundred in no time :)
Butch not trying to be too serious, we had a wonderful fellow by the name of Jonathon on here recently, I as well as everybody else dont really want to see another guy like that here.
Its all good I dont hate you but i wanted to let you know how serious the mods take it, and as far as creating a new name and all, you'll be caught by us and/or the mods, trust me on that one. Then you'll never get back on here, atleast in the SCMAS forum.

Hey, Dawg, what would be nice would be to post some info about your experience as a fish professional. Then offer your input/suggestions on some open-ended questions (i.e. best macro for phosphate absorbtion, best skimmer technology or brand, or best water flow mrthod). Everybody's willing to "help" you get your 1st hundred posts, it's just best to go about it in a round about way as to not get noticed. Even starting an off topic post like"How to start Ballin' outta control" can get you to a hundred posts in a matter of man hour or so. Just my 2 pennies worth.
 
sounds good i understand im almost there. holy moly i guess i should have just waited becasue this is like big news that butchdawg tried to get 100 posts but i guess ill just keep going . im sure since this is a serious site someone be irratied if i put up a thread that said the "most ballinest tank ever"
