Why does my Carpet do this?

Did you get an in-sump skimmer or another HOB? What type of pump is running the skimmer?

My carpet when I had it did that for around a week, I had high P04, due to overfeeding and a broke down skimmer. I fixed the problem, and he went back to normal, but that was about the only thing I can come to conclusion.

Its an in-sump skimmer. I will check to see what type of pump is running it soon.

The pump that is running the skimmer is a Maxi-jet 1200. It gets about 342 gallons per hour.


Like I said earlier, ever since the upgrade of the skimmer and the new pump, my carpet has yet to strectch out his/her column. Now it partly looks like a pancake with folds.
