why is my clam doing this?

i have a beautiful 3-4 inch maxima in my 29 with 175 10k and 2 28 w blue pcs... and lately towards the middle of its mantle it has scrunches up slighty (but only in the middle of the mantle... the mantle is still out although- i just read about bumblebee snails and iodine and strontium...

i have bumblebee snails and do add strontium and iodine... coudl this be the reason?

The clam might have inhaled something & now it's stuck. I remeber reading about piched mantle somewhere.

I believe the cure was a FW dip. I would double check but I would check with more people before just doing it. No need to stress it unless it is confirmed that is the reason for the clams condition.

I would def. stop the Iodine and Stron. dosing...from experience, I've seen clams get progressively worse when I dosed these 2 things.

Did I miss something? Idoine & Strotium dosing (or molybendum)? Not a good idea.
I guess I just assumed that loomisreefer wasn't dosing anything -Because I don't dose anything. I never even thought about that.
