why profilux over apex

which brings me to an important question…
How fast does profilux get parts to you in the event you need them?

We have the two main components here always in stock, but they never get called upon. worst case if I did not have them for someone I would send the a whole controller and they can then take out the parts required and ship back the remaining items.

But I have never seen a genuine warranty case.

Holy cow!... even I didn't know that.

And when you need it either myself, allen(bigal) or Michael (aqd_ottawa)are around. Shoot any of us a pm, and we will get back to you promptly.

not sure this is the right place for a question but seems like you guys have all the answers. I have an apex but feel like I'm not utilizing it and that the profilux does more of the things I care about. I will probably switch but am curious if there is anything like the apex auto feeder for the profilux? If not is there at least a feed mode that can slow down flow and turn off the skimmer when it's feeding time? I really like the feed cycle for the apex and also like the idea of the auto feeder so the fish at least have something if I go out of town for a few days. Other than these items the profilux seems about perfect.

Hi
I know an auto feeder is in the works, is just GHL will only source German parts so it takes longer, other auto feeders are typically chinese in origin.

But in regards to functionality for switching things off at feed time, the ProfiLux has built in feed pause modes you can easily program

Ok great! The feeder I can live without but the feed pause cycle is really convenient so I'm glad that's onboard. I look forward to getting a profilux in the near future.

Thanks for the feedback. I will post here any updates on any feeders, but for sure the Profilux is the nuts in terms of built in technology so feed pauses are a given ;)
