Why woud someone do this!!!!!!!

Cameras are the way to go. I've seen fairly decent security camera systems at BJ's or Costco. The cameras can be set up to view from all angles and if there is an incident-Of course it would be recorded. Then when you are watching your local news- The video clip can be broadcasted and the gulity party be brought forth.
 
Charles did you have any luck finding out how did this. I pulled more copper out of my sump last night. This is the 2nd time in 2 months. I didnt lose anything yet this time.
 
That is sad to hear. Some people hurt others just for a hobby it seems like. You should be able to get a camera system for relatively inexpensive. Right now there's an 8 camera system with dvr included for only 400 bucks. May not stop the a****** but it'll definitely help catch him.
 
Maybe I missed some. When I found them the first time I didn't think much of it Until my red hornets started turning brown. Every thing seems to be fine. I have been checking my lines with a hand held metal detector. Let me know if any one would like to use it for a day.
 
I can't believe this is happening so close to home! did any of the affected stores have cameras to catch these creeps? I haven't been to Captain Larry's yet, I have been meaning to take a trip down there, I hear it's really nice :) I've only been to Two Turtles a long time ago. Takes me like 40 minutes to get there lol.
 
I have been around for some time now. I have been doing the swaps and selling locally. I just havent got on RC yet. I am trying to open a shop but I keep having set backs. I have a location and everything I need. But it's just easier to sell from my home. I have about 20 tanks all set up to one system. Its about 400g. I am in the works on setting up a 420g tank. I might make it a shark tank.
I did buy 2 cameras today. One for my saltwater set up and the other one for my pond. I am missing 3 of my Japanese koi. About $1500 worth of koi. I can't sell the baby's if I don't have the parents. I can tell someone was in the pond. My net was left out and my koi are not letting me pet them. This is another set back. I made very good money off my baby koi last year. I hope I can still get some baby koi this year.
 
@ Akron....if you are working out of your house, can you narrow down who you let in recently? You should be able to help the other shops narrow down the list of customers that might be frequenting all three stores.

PS How do we contact you to come see your set up and to shop?

I paid $200 for each one of them when they were 4". They were about 15" and very heavy. They might go for more $. I hope someone didnt just kill them for the fun of it. If anyone comes across some big koi I would like to see if they are mine. I will pay to get them back.

Why are you alluding to Koi I thought you sold saltwater!? :hmm3: If you are indeed the perpetrator get over yourself you scum to this earth..
 
Akroncoral is the one that posts on craigslist everyday with the coral and clams. Bought some stuff off him last year. He's not well liked on craigslist everything he posts is flagged the second its listed and them 5 minutes later its listed again and flagged again. When I meet him he wasn't on RC he told s me he got banned for something but wouldn't say why. There's alot of questions out there going unanswered right now. And I bet someone out there knows more than what they're telling. I just hope this gets handled before it happens again and more livestock dies or someone loses their livelyhood.
