What are you feeding the Anemone, and how long have you had it? I've never had an issue with clowns being able to steal food from a healthy mag or gig.

Try feeding your mag a piece of scallop or raw shrimp too big for clowns to eat.
I did this w/ my newer pair of picasso's and their mag, and now nearly a year later they seem to recognize it eats, and now anytime I give rods food(Which often has larger chunks) they will now take the larger pieces to their mag and shove it at mouth.

Large pieces of bay scallops. The Anemones grip the food loosely at first, that's when they try to steal it. I run interference until they get a good grip, then they have a tougher time.

I feed them Larry's food, mysis, pellets and Flake first, then the anemones.

Ah, try using grabbers and put the scallop close to mouth

I sometimes think there's a learning curve that comes w/ maturity, not sure how old your clowns are.

I use a grabber:) Clowns are 15 year old mated pair. Anemones are in aquarium since 2006.
