Hi,
I have a G2 Pro over a 34x17x17 tank.
The water line is about 1.5 inches below the top of the glass, and the light is hung 14 inches above the water line.
In general, I am satisfied, but I do have more shadowing than I would like. Corals mounted on the primary viewing side look less than optimal because they shade themselves on the side you see the best.
I currently run a modified Radiant program at 45%. I am planning on ramping up to about 60% because a few corals are "greening out" (pink lemonade is a bright vibrant green now instead of yellow, which I believe is a result of less than optimal PAR.)
Should I get the wide angles to reduce this shadowing? Will they? If I do, what should I increase the intensity to from 45%?
Thanks!
