Weird, how big are they? Can you put something in the picture, like a coin, to compare size.
They look like teeth. Any larger predator fish in there?at my job I take care of 2 90 gallons systems. Keep find little rocks that look like teeth does anyone know what they are? There no opening on them or holes of any sort.
My thoughts exactlyAlthough small, they look like well worn sharks teeth
Not in the tank I found them in. the usual inhabitants are anenomes, soft coral frags, blue leg/ reg leg hermits some emerald crabs we've have a couple tuxedo urchins in there but none has passed and all sold pretty quickly. the systems didn't have much maintenance till I got here. They look like teeth. Any larger predator fish in there?
The sand we get is just a plain white sand and I'm not sure how they would have got there if they are teeth I tried to reverse google them and I kept getting fossilized teeth images but nothing that looks like them they are all identical in shape but differs in size they sound kinda of hollow when I tapped it on the counter but idk because they're smallMy thoughts exactly
That was my first thought as well. That's why I asked about the size.Although small, they look like well worn sharks teeth
Interesting.Update: it's the spines of red knobby starfish. Makes sense because the systems weren't well care for first a really long time before I took over the aquatic section.
I figure it out when I sadly had a red knobby pass away at work and when I picked him up one of his spines fell off into my hand and it was the exact same thing except colorfulInteresting.
