Update on the crew.
So far ( little girl sea biscut eats like a pig on live brine.)
Rody would not eat untill today..and then pigged out on live brine.
Slim started feeding today as well.
( big girl Hidalgo on ate 2 brines yesterday...and didn't eat today. I have seen her peck at the rock & glass at some pods...Fingures crossed She will follow the rest of the crew. SAlthough. She does have the most body mass over the other 2.
To be honest ..No. We used what Rock I already had cycling from a previous tank. And As Small as they are right now, They are having fun drifting to each of the hitching post they have now.
My Wife is in no way done with the build. So I'm sure she will be looking into other hitching post for them.
I think our biggest concern right now is the Larger of the 2 females ..She does not eat alot . just a peck or 2 ( that we see ) . Maybe she is more active at night . But I did swing by and pick up a few different types of Pods yesterday.
well we had a good & bad day with the ponies.
The Good
The big girl finaly ate after 5 days of 1-2 pecks here and there. She ate nonstop tonight .
The Bad.
Rody Found his way into the return pipe today , ..Made it past the overflow not being used...Pic below. The wife said she had just seen him before I got home. So he was only in there for maybe 20 mins. Took him a few hrs to relax again,, but starting feeding shortly after.
Here was the issue.
So the Itch got me.]
Here are a few sponges I got & a Gargonia
the purple tube spong in this shot ( from the store ) it is huge .Cant wait to get it in the tank
And got this nice Hitching post of a orange sponge.
So I got a issue .
The Bright purple sponge ( I Have not added to the tank yet ) I saw a few small crabs inside the tubes..They looked like anemone crabs., But I can't be for sure. What will be the best way to try and get these critters out before adding it to the tank.
I have it sitting inside a 5 gallon bucket as of now. Sucks I can't pull it out and just pick them off.
