Will a booster fit me?

Hey guys!
I am just now filling up my tank, and my problem is that I get 3.1 bar out of my wall. After it goes through my RO it comes out a slow drip and at 90 TDS. I want to ge a booster but I noticed that all boosters state "for water pressure under 2.8 bar"...

Does that mean it won't work for me?

Your water pressure is not too bad (45psi). I think the minimum for most ro units is around 30 psi. I have 60psi from my lines at my house. If you are getting that high of a tds from the output I would say that there is something else wrong. The filters could be old or bad or the unit is just not hooked up correctly. What is the tds of your tap water?

Also you could try geting di if you dont have that already. It woudl take the tds all the way down to zero.

To help others I converted the bar in psi so 3.1=45psi. 2.8=40psi I doubt that 5psi over would destroy the booster pump however it's life might be shorter.
I'm on a well and sometimes my pressure is this low but my tds is still at 0. Is your membrane old?

That's the point!, my filters and membrane are new and top quality!
I got a guy over here to check my connections and he said all is well!
However, I still get very low pressure coming out of my RO, and tds is 90!!!, coming out of the wall is 600.
Just for demonstration, I timed it, and it fills 20cc in 22.5 second!!!

That converts to right around 20 gallons per day. What is the rating of the membrane? Also there should be a restrictor on the waste line. This restrictor has to be matched with the membrane. If it isnt then you will have poor results.

the membrane is 50 GPD
And I have a restrictor that matches. It says 300 on the restrictor and the guy that came to try and fix the problem put it there and said it should help a bit...
Question is, should I put a booster?
Will it even work or will it sense a pressure of 3 bar and switch itself off?
