will a brain coral be ok at the bottom of my 40 breeder?

Hi guys jus gt a open brain coral it is currently at the bottom of my 40b my lighting is a 4x39w t5ho nova extreme will it be ok there? Thanks
 
brains do better on the substrate, and as for lighting you are good. i kept my brain under t5's and it actually coloured up really nicely

Yup, should be fine. Your tank is pretty shallow and your lighting is solid enough
 
I have one that I've kept for about 10 years now. At first it was in a 75 gallon under 2 x 250w 10k bulbs and it looked miserable; shriveled from too much light I suppose. Under T5 it looks great. I keep it at the bottom of a barebottom 50 gallon under 5x39w T5s.
