Will a Condy eat my clowns?

I just bought a Condy since A.A was having a 40% off sale. I understand the odds of my clowns hosting it are low, but I still wanted it in my tank because of how cool it looks regardless of the hosting. Now I'm concerned that it might eat my clown/sixline or blenny. What are the odds of this occuring? Anyone have any personal experience they can relate to? My clowns have host a BTA before, and are currently hosting in my zoo's. (causing black sting marks right now) If they do get curious I don't want them to get eaten.

I've kept them together without a problem. The clowns never really went near it and they were hosting in a large hairy mushroom at the time. Did you get the bright purple tips?

Just out of curiosity, what is the "40% off" price they gave you? Those condy anems are usually around $8 at Salty Critter.

They do look cool though don't they? :D

They can, I had one 10 years ago eat my perc. the sting on them is just to strong I believe for clowns

A.A. is running a 40%off all fish/inverts sale for the next week. Some prices are pretty good, others seem like they jacked the price to offer the discount. My condy was $18 after 40% around 9 so I guess about the same as salty critter. I also got a lawmower blenny for around 12 bucks and a nice looking sixline for 17 bucks after sale. The condy has great color, will be interesting to see how the fish interact with it. I'll have to check out salty critter, it's just a little bit of a hike from downtown.

Erik, was the clown hosting in it? Or did the condy actuallysting the fish and pull it in. I'm a little worried about the other fish as well, but I think they might be smart enough to not go by it. Hmm.. This is a tough call...

You won't regret it... You can get there in about 35 minutes from downtown if you just get on 90w. It takes that long to go 10 blocks sometimes in Cleveland. I drive about 1hr each way to get there. If you head that far west you might as well try to make a loop and hit Aquatic Tech if you have never been there. It's worth checking out if you are looking for livestock and don't mind paying a premium for healthy, in-stock items. I have only gone there a few times.

On the other hand, f you are walking there ... I would have to agree that it IS a hike :p
