will a derasa clam be ok in a 5 day black out?

hey all... i have a derasa clam that has been doing great. its about 3 1/2 inches now. but....my tank has alge and cyano and some other weird brown stringy stuff growing on some of my corals. my levels are perfect. all in need to is will the clam be ok in 5 days ish of darkness?

Probably.. Most just use a 3 day blackout though as some have claimed issues going longer than that....

realize though that a blackout is not a solution to your problem.. Just a temporary coverup at best..
