will a haddoni nem host a saddleback clown?

Haddonis are a natural host nem for saddlebacks. Doesn't guarantee anything but increases the odds I imagine.

Graham wont guarantee it, but I will. If you have Saddleback/A. polymnus they will move into a haddoni. I have absolutely no doubt.

There is a potential problem with this species combination in captivity though. A. polymnus can be a very skittish fish. When frightened, they will dive directly into the digestive cavity of the anemone. The anemone really doesn't appear to appreciate this, and Todd had a polymnus die from this. For this reason, I would suggest getting captive bred fish, and teach them to feed from your hand. This should reduce the odds of you frightening them into the anemone.

Yep. I had a tank raised pair that went into my S. Haddoni within an hour of being released into the tank.

awesome. thats great news. i'll search for a tank raised pair then. i really like these guys a lot compared to my other possibilities like clarkiis

The haddoni's nickname is "saddleback carpet".. I wonder if its because they are a natural host.

Upon releasing into my tank, mine dove right into mine.. within seconds.. like they were destined to be together.
