I am trying to figure out if I can fit a Alpha 250 skimmer in a standard 30G tank used as sump. The spec says it is 11.79" wide, which seems just a tiny bit larger than the width of the 30G. Does this mean it will not fit? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the confirmation. It's a 120G tank with 70G frag tank and 20G fuge, so total about 210G with about 18 fish and packed with corals. Do you think a Alpha 200 will have enough muscle for it?
I think the Alpha 200 would be fine for you, with no problems at all. The Alpha 250 size wise is comparable to an ATB 1050, or ATB Medium. You would be very surprised at the overall size / performance of the 200 I think.
