Will dime sized RBTA frag survive?

One of my RBTA's crawled into the overflow. I caught it before it went all the way down. It lost about 1/3 of its mass, but a week later it is fine and eating again.

The day after I rescued it, I changed my filter sock. I always look inside the dirty sock in case a fish got in there or some thing, and low and behold I find 3 frags, 2 about the size of a dime, 1 the size of a half dollar. They were already healed up and looking like little RBTA's.

The biggest one seems to have a mouth now, but I can't really tell on the dime sized ones. Will they form mouths and survive, or is it just a matter of time before they die?

I would say try feeding them very small pieces of shrimp or such but I havent owned mine for a long period of time. But thats just a guess.

I would feed them small amounts of ground shrimp and or silversides.

If they eat they should be OK.

I would love to see pictures of them, can you do that?
and yes they will survive if you feed them and get them into the light.
Way cool

Yes, I've had RBTA "frags" of this size survive. Feed them size-appropriate food and they will grow, albeit slowly.

FWIW,
Kevin
