First let me tell you about my setup, 46 gallon bowfront 55lbs liverock 60lbs live sand no fish yet only 2 hermit crabs. I am planning a pair of banggi cardinals a yellow neon goby and either a single or pair of clowns. I would love marroon but I have heard about them being mean. I wouldnt want them hurting the cardinals. My lighting is a 36inch four bulb tek hood. I know that I would have to wait 9-12 months but then would I be able to have an anemone with that lighting? If so what spectrome of bulbs do I need? I would want an anemone that would host clowns. Please give me advise on what anemone would work best. Also I would like ideas on what clowns to buy. I would rather not have ocelaris/percula unless it was a differnt style(naked, picaso, ect).

Thank You

If it's the Tek T5 fixutre then yes it'll support most anemones.

Maroons do get quite big and mean. How about black saddlebacks or clarkiis?

If you can wait 9-12 months then that'd be great. But personally I'd do it as soon as you see your tank start to mature. Meaning corals are growing and parameters are stable.
