Will I get a grafted coral from this?

I´m wondering if I will get one of those grafted mutant corals from this acropora and idaho grape monti that are toutching each other, it seems as if they were melting:

I had a purple monti (encrusting) frag get pushed into an acro and the monti started to die off where they were touching.

That is like trying to get an elephant and a pig to produce offspring.
 
You'll probably see one of them start receeding before long. It doesn't necessarily happen immediately after touching. If you wanted a grafted coral you'll need two of the same species or genus.
