i'm going to have a 40g fuge next to a 40g sump built by the awsome sean man. thinking of having the water leven in the fuge higher then the water level in one of the sump chainbers <chainber1>. 3 chainbers all together. overflow box on fuge draining to chainber one. display draining into chainber 3 leaving chainber 2 open- middle chainber.

heres the question, i was thinking of using the center chainber for the return. is it true that the water level in chainber 2 will rise and fall from evaporation enableing me to put a ato sensor in chainber 2?

Yep, my current 40 breeder sump/fuge is built that exact way and the center is where my return is... The only chamber that loses water level.

the only other thing i'm concerned with is will the overflow from the fuge work since it's right next to the sump. i shown the baffles to show where the water is going to be.

Like benny said, the only chamber you should see levels vary is in the return section. Nice work!

That is how my sump/fuge is set up. My ATO is right behind the return pump.

Good timing with the pics. I ordered glass baffles today and will be ready to silicone in place next week. It's a 40 gallon breeder that I am doing.
