Will they make it?

Ok, this was my first time buying zoos online and having it shipped 2 days...(lesson learned)..
The zoos came to me very cold, they look ok but I don't know the long term affect of being in such cold water. there was a heat pack, but it obviously was pretty much dead as well.
Does anyone know if zoos can make it under these extreme conditions?
Right now, I have them sealed in the bags, dark and floating in my tank to get them warmed up.
Just a bit bummed if I loose them.

I've bought zoas already that arrived cold (water temps in the 40s) and they survived. It took awhile for them to open but they did ok.

You can try, I had some sps/lps delievered to me by accident a couple days early while I was on vacation and they were under the rain and storm for almost 2 days. Water and heat pack was real cold. I just slowly acclimated them to the water.(in their bag ). only lost a favia. other 4 corals survived.

Here's a pic of the colony, this is day #3 and they haven't opened. They are at the bottom of my tank with moderate flow. Not sure if they look too good....how long does it take for them to open typically when stressed?

Too me ( IMO ) they're just closed. just let them be, but maybe a little less light for now. But they look decent not sickly?

yeah, I can't tell...last time my zoos looked like this they got this cloudy film over them and never opened up and eventually melted and died.
I'll move them to a shaded part of my tank for now

dude i had them come back from less thent hat.. i tohught the guy sent me just a rock lol there were NO visiable zoos on this 1 by 1 frag.. but... 7 months later polyps lol

I had some delivered to me just the opposite, no water at all and this is what they look like:

YOu can ship zoas using the dry method. Using paper towels soaked with saltwater.

I guess it's hit or miss with these things.

ATTR, I also bought some LR from LFS not even aware there were zoos on them. I ended up with some pretty nice pieces, Green bay packers, Orange Bam Bams and radioactive dragon eyes. I know that they are common, but I still like the colors.

So I'm hopeful these will make it. Thanks for the encouragement guys!

Just don't bother em'. But if you start seeing pods starting to infest them. Move them off the rocks like on a frag rack to get them away from harrasment and let them heal by them selves.

They look viable to be. The one thing working to your advantage is that they were cool/cold and not hot. Heat will make them melt. The cold water is bad, but they can and will bounce back from cold faster/better than excessive heat. Place alone with flow and stability. Just leave it alone and hopefully it will bounce back. Don't dip it or anything, just do like Ron Popeel, just set it and forget it. They don't look bad at all from the picture.

Yes, I stand corrected. Thanks to everyone for all their encouragement on these zoos.
I'll definitely take a pic once they open up (hopefully sooner vs. later).

Ok, here's an updated pic...they are at the very bottom of my tank and can't go any lower..I don't want to put them in the substrate, but they are getting some flow.
Let me know if you think they're gonners....
