You're going to want to list your tank size, dimensions, and filtration. "Rules" change significantly as tank size goes up.

+2 to Peter. If the tank isn't approaching 1000g or more I don't think it will work, if it does it will be short lived

was thinking of a tank around 350-380 gallons with just enough rock to make hideing places for miniatus and moray as well as an overhang with sandy bottom. if i decide to take epualet shark and bird wrasse out of equasion would it be more likely to work? other than rock i plan to have lots of turtleweed, bladed sand moss, fan weed and any other seaweed tangs wont eat as well as some sponges.

Skip the Sharks.others might disagree but I wouldn't keep those sharks in a 350....No way...

The yellow tangs will probably end up killing eachother,in a 350.

The eel might be okay,I think 350 would be the minimum really.....

I honestly don't know very much about groupers so I can't really comment. It may be to aggressive when adult, not fully sure.

Everything else would be fine.I would add the Achilles last.

As long as you put the tangs on the same time they should be fine i have 3 tanks in 180 there fine .I would only do one MAyBe
2 sharks if there is vary little rocks

would the yellow tangs kill each other becuase of too little or too much space?

would epualet shark get along with banded bamboo shark or white spotted bamboo shark or should i stick to just stay with one of the three? i have kept miniatus grouper before with yellow sailfin tang as well as three archerfish i converted to saltwater from brackish and a indian mud moray(gymnothorax tile) i also converted to salt water and they got along okay, the moray and grouper shared the same cave.
