I have a frag tank that is undrilled, and I would like to run it through my sump. Only problem, I do not want an overflow box on it. I can't risk a power outage and it losing syphon.
Can I take a mag pump and use it to draw water from the tank? And then return it off the rest of the systems plumbing.
Will this work?
I run a HOB filter on the tank because it's only a 20 long, I just need it to run through the sump for chilling purposes. This is part of my new frag system I am setting up in my garage. I got sick of not seeing sand on my sandbeds, just too many frags. LOL.

Can you drill the back for a bulkhead? Then you could run it like I do my refugium, it's teed off the main return pump and returns through the bulkhead at the top back to the sump by gravity.
