It is good information for everyone to have. I don't like being left in the dark with vague statement and this will help shed some light on how long the list is. I don't think anyone does! If you know how long the list is, you might have some idea how long it will take to get your driver. The better informed everyone is the less speculation will go on.
EcoTech Marine has not figured this out. They have great product but poor business sense. People are generally understanding of the difficulty in bringing a product to market. However, people want to be informed upfront about time frames and delays in order to be understanding. Vague statement server to leave people in the dark, causing confusion and the spread of disinformation.
Let me be clear, this thread is not meant to be an attack on EcoTech Marine or malicious in any way. I think Tim and the guys at EcoTech Marine are good honest people. I just think they need a little nudge in the area of keeping us their customers in formed.

I appreciate your efforts but can you give us a little bit of a break? We are bending over backwards in every way possible for our customers. We just announced the product exchange yesterday and already people are telling us ways we could have done this better. Why don't you give us some time to assess the situation and determine for ourselves how best this should be handled?
As far as a list goes, as of last night our pre-order count was at 100. We are going to temporarily close pre-orders at 150 while we focus on delivering the product and producing more.
The other thread seems to be going well, but this one seems completely pointless. If it gets worse I will request for it to be closed.
