Wiring T5 retro

anyone have any written instructions?

THe diagram on the ballast is pretty straight up, both red wires to one side, blue on other, but theres a weird yellow wire used as a jumpre or something, idk


My dad knows how to wire things, hes asleep(worked overnight)

and ill check here if anyone has any suggestions to make it easier on him/me

its a 24w Tek retro from SLS

"weird yellow" should be for ground.....but the schematics on your ballast should indicate what wires are what....IMO..wait till your dad wakes up.....(no offense meant)

my dad was awake to look at it an explain most of it, so i mounted the standoffs in the canopy, and got that all settled

The ground is a green wire, this is for wirign to the bulbs

its, the 2 red wires to one standoff, one of the yellow wires, adn a wire connecting to the other standoff, the wire simpley runs between the two(dad called it a jumper)

the other is the same, 2 blue wires on one side, then one yellow, and the jumper wire connecting

i figured it all out, its pretty simple now i get it a bit, we just need to cut the wires to size and figure out how to attatch the ground wire, btu my dad knows all that
