Things With Stings R Us!
Renee and I were preusing the LFS and we happened upon this little gem:

Paracentropogon longipinis (wispy/longspine waspfish):

As you know, that's the scorp game...you just "happen" on them.

Renee has another pic of it someplace, but i can't find it...

It will go into the small scorp tank, so a pair of fuzzies, D. barberi, S. caribbaeus, and a cockatoo wasp.

Sweeet!! Surprisingly with the amount of scorps I get locally I've never seen any kind of waspfish for sale, ever. And I want one pretty badly now that I'm in smaller tanks. I've been holding off oredering one online but I think if I see a cockatoo come up soon I'll pull the trigger. I know red fins are readily available but I've never been a huge fan of them.

Anyways that guy is pretty awesome! I love his dorsal spikes and his cool white face

Jarrod,

Cockatoos are the dwarf fuzzies of the waspfish world...if you see one, nab it. It's one of my fave fish.

That's all I've ever heard about them too, and you know how i love fuzzies ;-)

believe me if I EVER see one it's mine! literally though I've never seen a single waspfish in stores that get in rhinos, inimicus, choridactylus, you would think I would have seen at least one slip through the cracks :-(
